The Blue Explorer Spearo Knife is a great all rounder that's suitable for all water sports including spearfishing, scuba diving and snorkelling. It is a 420 stainless steel blade that measures 11cm and has a serrated edge on one side and a blade on the other side. The total knife length is 21.5cm and this includes the easy grip rubber handle that is a hi-vis red colour which allows an easy find if you accidentally drop it. The Blue Explorer Spearo Knife comes with a plastic sheath that has an easy locking system to prevent the knife from falling out, plus rubber leg straps that have a belt type closure.
When spearfishing it's important to have a knife on you for two main reasons, one being your own safety as there could come a time where you may get stuck or tangled and need to cut yourself loose. The other is the humane killing of fish once you have shot them, braining the fish in the head will give a quick and painless kill so you can then move on to your next catch.
