The older I get, the more amazed I am by the rich complexity of being. Each moment carries with it the potential for surprising possibilities and new adventures. It seems to me that we're a lot like the Scientist Explorers of previous centuries. Rather then advanced scientific equipment, those individuals relied on their own skills and abilities to find their way and record their discoveries. Similarly, we seem compelled to deepen our understanding by relying on skills and abilities that get us through this dangerous world. My Life as a Scientist Explorer reflects this sentiment, while also suggesting that all of our exploration takes place within the ever changing territory of the present moment. Bright color and playful imagery accompany the book's hand-lettered text. This accordion book also features a map-like example of Change Notation, the system I have developed for diagramming moments of experience.
